His name was offered to those teachers and it was a surprise when he was assigned within that week.The Administration also made the suggestion that Kevin apply to the ASS (Athletic Support Staff) as he would be tutoring a number of Varsity players throughout the upcoming Fall Semester being threatened with losing their playing status due to failing grades, undercutting the competitive edge of those CCC Varsity teams.Tony would be joining the Baseball team in the Fall, and Kevin started to show up at every Varsity practice game that August standing behind the bench, soon becoming the Coach’s right hand and providing anything that a team member wanted.Soon he started showing up less and less at Tony’s house but that was okay, Kevin could not be seen to play favorites, and all those on those teams were happy to have him watch, playing up to him, to impress him with their play on the field as well as in the bedroom, to balance out their lack of talent when challenged academically.Tony started to run with the tougher members of the Varsity Teams and he didn’t want to be seen with someone like Kevin after a game.
